Treehouse shows error in my program. But I didnt get what the error is. The following is my code: class Store: open='9' close='6' def hours(self): x='We are from {} to {}'.format(open,close) return self.x

you forgot to put the self variable in front of open and close so you can't access those variables from this instance. Also take care to write the string the challenge wants you to write because challenges tend to fail if the string doesn't match the required one.
This should work:
class Store:
open = 9
close = 6
def hours(self):
return 'We\'re open from {} to {}.'.format(self.open, self.close)
