Error message trying to open Android Studio for my first time.

I just installed Android Studio. Upon trying to open it thinks for quite a long time and then i get the error: "Android Studio" can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.

Has anyone experienced this and know of a fix?

Thank you in advance! Rachael

As it turns out, i went and downloaded directly from the Android Developer Tools site and all seems to be working now. Thanks!

The version listed in Team Treehouse was given to us because they wanted to keep the interface the same between teacher and students. Anyway, this link gave another method of getting through that security feature - but use it wisely. :)
