Error on line outside of code block

I have been getting errors(across previous quizzes as well) on lines that I don't have any code on. For example, I'm now getting the following error:

StudentsCode.cs(18,0): error CS1525: Unexpected symbol `{' StudentsCode.cs(18,1): warning CS0642: Possible mistaken empty statement Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 1 warnings

My code snippet is less than 18 lines long, so I'm not sure what the problem is. How should I interpret this error?

CodeChallenge.cs
string input = Console.ReadLine();
int temperature = int.Parse(input);
if(temperature < 21)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Too cold!");
}
else if(temperature > 20 && temperature < 23)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Just right.");
}
else(temperature > 22)
{
    Console.WriteLine("Too hot!");
}

Hi there! An if statement requires a condition and an else if statement requires a condition. However, a condition is neither necessary nor allowed in an else statement. An else statement says what to do if everything else has failed. Try it again with these hints in mind, but let me know if you're still stuck! :sparkles:
