error PezDispenser

i try to run the PezDispenser

clear && javac PezDispenser.java && java PezDispenser and i recieve the following error...why???

Class names, 'PezDispenser', are only accepted if annotation processi
licitly requested

From what I understand of this error, it is because when you compiled the program you forgot to add the .java extension.

so you would run:

javac PezDispenser.java

not 

javac PezDispenser
