Android Build a Self-Destructing Message Android App Sending Messages Selecting Recipients

Error running requestFeature()

I downloaded the project files but I'm getting this error in logcat: requestFeature() must be called before adding content

I'm not sure which feature is being requested, but if this is similar to the self-destructing message app, then you should be calling requestWindowfeature before yo set the content view.

For Example:

@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        requestWindowFeature(Window.FEATURE_INDETERMINATE_PROGRESS);  // <- This
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);  // <-Before this
}
