3,922 PointsEven or odd
Hi there, When i try to run my code, the feedback is Task 1 is no longer passing or working. A little help will be appreciated.
Thanks!
import random
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
start = 5
while True:
random_num = random.randint(1, 99)
for num in random_num:
if num % 2 = 0:
print("() is even".format(random_num))
else:
print("() is odd".format(random_num))
start-=1

231,269 PointsThere seem to be a few issues, here's some hints:
- the loop should run "until start is falsey", but "
while True:
" will run forever. - you can't have an expression on the left side of an assignment
- random_num is not an iterable that can be used in a loop
- you only need one loop for this challenge (the while loop)
- you can use the provided even_odd function to determine what to print
