why does'nt it work ?

even.py
import random

start = 5
while start:

    if even_odd(x = random.randint(1, 99)):
        print ("{} is even".format(x))
    else :
        print ("{} is odd".format(x))
    strat -= 1

Here's some hints:

  • try moving the assignment of x to a separate line, then test it for even/odd on the next line
  • try moving the entire loop so it comes after the definition of even_odd
  • you spelled "strat" instead of "start" on the last line of the loop
