I'm new to iOS, but to me it seems like it would be a better idea to encapsulate the XML parsing logic into its own class and let the VIewController just worry about displaying the data. It seems as if the VIewController is doing too much here. Thoughts?

42,016 Pointsyou could, but I'd say the view controllers job is also to get the data that needs to be displayed, so I dont really think its doing too much.
