CSS CSS Basics (2014) Enhancing the Design With CSS Media Queries

everytime I try to add it inside the media query it greys out

it's still not working

You nearly have it .. I see two issues yet:

  • there's a stray period between the word "media" and the conditional expression
  • the final closing brace (for the media query itself) is missing

@media(max-width:1020px){.main-header } .main-header {background-color:tomato: color white}

In this one, some of the punctuation seems to be misplaced — with an interesting side-effect!
