Extend footer past page width.

Hey guys, I'm trying to have my footer extend across the bottom of the browser. It's being held by the max page width. How can I get around this? or is uploading a repeating image the only way? Responses are Greatly appreciated.

You need to move the footer div outside of the main page wrap <div>

Sounds like the footer is being constrained by its parent <div>

Thanks Simon, I thought I had that covered but I not as good as I had hoped.

Can you send a link?

My website isn't on the web yet and I'm not really sure how to link it any other way, but an example is Youtube's footer. It expands across the full width of the browser while keeping the content inline.

This is a great time for using a reduced test case to show us your issue using codepen.io

Thanks James, I'll be sure and use this method for future questions.
