Extra Credit - Control Flow - Swift Basics

I have copied and pasted my code below. Could somebody please go through it and tell me if my code is alright? Help would be appreciated.

//Swift Basics - Control Flow - Extra Credit

import UIKit

for numbers in 1...50 {
    if (numbers % 2 == 0) {
    println("\(numbers) is Even")
    } else if (numbers == 1) {
        println("\(numbers) is neither Odd nor Even")
    } else {
        println("\(numbers) is Odd")
    }
}

Hi, there, I don't quite understand the reasoning behind these 2 lines

    } else if (numbers == 1) {
        println("\(numbers) is neither Odd nor Even")

In Mathematics, 1 is an odd number.
