Extra Credits Task

Just wondering if the extra credit tasks at the bottom of each section has any sort of validation or fetches you more points? If yes, then how does one submit and validate them.

I think I've seen this mentioned before and no there's no official "testing" of them, this is just purely for your own benefit in a similar way to giving you extra learning resources to read through. Which of course makes "extra credit" a bit of a misnomer.
