Extra hours at work

curious if any one here (no freelancers) needs to do extra hours at work?

Hey Allen, I'm not sure what you are trying to get at here, but I believe you'll find most of those in the industry are salary based employees and do not have set hours. Meaning they do not have to make sure they're at the office to clock in at 9 and clock out at 5. However some days might be longer than others so you might consider those days as putting in "extra hours". And depending on where you work you might have to be on an on-call rotation, which means while you're on-call you have to prepared to work at a moments notice, even if that's at 3am in the morning. Also if there's a product launch or majory code deploy then maybe someone would have to put in a little more time. I guess it all just depends on where you work and how well you work.

I also think there is a major change happening in the industry where more and more companies are opting in to allow more humane working hours for their employees. Less stress means happier and more productive employees.
