4,578 PointsExtract String Resource option not being shown in Android Studio
I am only seeing two options when I click Alt+Enter in Android Studio Version 1.2.2.
1) Make method call chain into call sequences 2) Split into declaration and assignment
I cannot find the extract string resource as told in the video. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled to see this feature?

29,119 PointsYou don't have to edit any settings to activate it, no, it should be on by default. Make sure that you've pressed in the actual string (inside the ""), and not on the variable name or data type, before pressing ALT+Enter.
