Fail to integrate or install Easy WP SMTP plugin.

Fail to integrate or install Easy WP SMTP plugin. Install the plugin and activate it, I used gmail account so I have used the following info: SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com Type of Encryption: TLS SMTP Port: 587 After the setup, When I try to send a test email I am getting the following message: SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting

Would someone share some thought over this?

having a problem on Wordpress keep getting error, SMTP ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting is there anyone which can help me out with this problem

Try using STARTTLS encryption. I started doing that and then got a new error: SMTP ERROR: MAIL FROM command failed: 530-5.5.1 Authentication Required. SO I think that's progress Google just isn't allowing it.
