Failed to Initialize Monitor Thread

For some reason, my app isn't working because an Eclipse popup says: DDMS

Failed to initialize Monitor Thread: Unable to establish loopback connection.

Could someone please explain to me what's going on? Thanks!

PS. I'm on Windows 8.1 running the 64 bit version of Eclipse

Hi Shane,

After some searching, I found a Stack Overflow answer that pointed to IPv4 vs. IPv6 in Windows.

Can you give that a go please and see if it fixes your problem? Also are you on Windows?
