General Discussion

Feature request: Assessment test on courses that you've previously taken.

I would like to see a feature where you may take an assessment test on courses that you've previously taken. It'll consist of coding challenges as well as quizzes. It could be one big test on all the courses that a member has taken, or from a select list of subjects. The questions on the test will cover all the bases and provide feedback on which areas the member is excelling in and which areas they need to improve.

For example:

You just completed the JavaScript test: You answered 42 out of 50 questions. The categories of the questions that you missed are [category, goes, here]. Check out <these-links-go-here> lessons to improve your knowledge.

Would you benefit from a feature like this? I know I will!

Yes, I was actually thinking that myself. I am in favor of an option that allows current students to go to there profile and select from a list of classes they have taken and then opt to take a refresher assessment. I would suggest to make multiple assessments for each class and updated or rotate them periodically. This way students are not retaking the same assessment to get a better score.

Its a great idea and showing the user areas they struggle with will do wonders to improve overall competency. which in turn reflects positively on TreeHouse's services.
