General Discussion

Feedback on redesigned personal/portfolio site.

Hi (:

I recently posted my first website here, and I got some great constructive criticism. I've since improved (in my opinion) it, and would like to hear your opinion.

Also, if you have some time, check out the section titled "Playground". I was wondering if the projects I started doing were a bit on the too simple side...

Anyway, any feedback would be great. Thanks.

I love it! keep it up! I'm inspired on how you pick on your color and text themes, it really does stands out!..I LOVE that resources section, I've been trying to find a list exactly just like that. that could be very helpful for people that wants to learn web development hardcore style, like me :D

One suggestion tho, I think it would look stylish if you put a pagination or a separate page that paginates all your art/flickr photos, maybe on the main page, rather than having visitors visit your flickr site. You seem like a creative person! show them to the world..hehe goodluck!

I haven't been able to properly document my art yet, but I'm going back to college where I have most of my art, and I'll definitely update how that part of my page works (:

Thank you!

oh of course, no rush :D I'm excited to see more add-ons on your webpage!

This is one of those threads that really pumps me up and prompts "an INCREDIBLE itch to build something" inside of me! Thank you! It's inspiring. And I'll bookmark it too, for the list of programming resources. I like your aesthetic. I only have good things to say, but should stop now to not sound too creepy :).

Do you design and code everything from a white blank text editor?

Hey, thanks (:

Nope everything there wasn't done from scratch. The site is built on Twitter Bootstrap 3, which was a major help, because I wanted to make it responsive, and mobile friendly, and it just makes it easier. The next full fledged site I build, will hopefully be from scratch, though :D!

Very nice! I noticed that on the index page under stuff I've done that you have loaded very large images and are scaling them down to fit within those design elements. You should resize them to the appropriate smaller size before using them on the page as those large images slow down the page loading time a lot.

Hey, I completely forgot about that. Thanks (:!
