I like to see more total projects courses in the javascript part with a real world approach,that it looks and feels like you collaborate with the teacher instead of only being the student. example projects:

image sliders simple apps like a image editor with some filters (learn to apply from other libraries like github) simple games

Agreed. While I'm enjoying learning JS, after 2 months of learning concepts and syntax, I still have no clue what the real world application will be. I'm sure it will click eventually, but it's hard not to feel a little in the dark.
