File Management

After doing some, what I thought was helpful, reorganizing, I've found that none of my stylesheets are working with my index.html for the Smells Like Bakin project. I'm at the part where we're introducing Media Queries. So my questions are...

  1. What are some good ways to manage all the files from the beginning so that I don't move something and screw the site up?

  2. For the project, would it be best to just delete the files and download the updated code in CodePen?

I think it would be better if you just worked on the same files through the whole project, this is what you are going to end up doing once you start working on your own.

Could you maybe tell us what was it that you did to reorganize?

Did you remeber CSS properties that arre at the bottom of the page are the ones that will override the top ones?

Maybe create a codepen for your problem so we can help you.

Well I have a main desktop folder for all my coding projects. It was getting a bit messy inside, so I moved some things into a "Smells Like Bakin" folder. After looking at the CSS file I had in the folder, I realized I had put in a CSS folder that wasn't apart of the SLB project. It was a dumb mistake, but I was getting worried I had damaged something beyond fixing. Now everything is working fine

Thanks Pedro!
