Filezilla - "At least one shared directory is not a valid local path"

Hi! I'm having problems with the 5 minute install because filezilla doesn't cooperate :D

So after downloading filezilla and setting up the password I tried setting up the shared folder but it says it's not a valid local path. I need this to get on to the child theme. Does anyone know what the problem is with the shared directory and how to solve it?

I had a similar problem, and this is what I did to solve it.

I am using windows 7 Ultimate x64 with Filezilla Server 9.45, The path I originally wanted to create a shared directory was Y:\filezilla server\FTP\users\danieldropik1

I suspected a problem could have arisen from the folder 'filezilla server', due to the whitespace character.

I closed all instances of filezilla. Then I renamed my folder from 'filezilla server' to 'filezillaServer'.

I restarted Filezilla Server, set up the shared folder without any errors.

Are you using Filezilla server, or Filezilla client? What operating system are you using? Does the directory path of your target shared folder contain any spaces in it?
