Filtering Mineral Catalog (Tech Degree)

I dont have the Slack access for the TD program to ask this.

There are two projects, Mineral Catalog (1st one) then Filtering Mineral Catalog(2nd one).

Ideally does the instructor want us to create a "new version" of this for our repo or is it okay to just make changes on the 1st project when submitting it as our 2nd project?

My natural instinct is to just update my current Mineral Catalog project with the Filtering and submit the same repo url? Is this okay to do? Or will the instructor need the separation of the 1st and 2nd project?
