You're nearly there.

The getter returns the member variable you're 'getting' - the setter sets it.

public class Spaceship{
    public String mType; 

  public String getType(){
     return mType; 
  }

  public void setType(String type){
     mType = type; 
  }
}

So the setter returns nothing, but does take a String as a parameter as the variable you are setting is of type String.
