3,133 PointsFinally, create a function named initialize. your initialize() function should connect to the database challenges..
I get the error "name 'challenges' is not defined". I'm not sure what I've done wrong. Can someone point it out for me? Thanks!
from peewee import *
db = SqliteDatabase("challenges.db")
class Challenge(Model):
name = CharField(max_length=100)
language = CharField(max_length=100)
steps = IntegerField(default=1)
class Meta:
database = db
def initialize():
challenges.connect()
challenges.create_tables("Challenge", safe = True)

so use that in the initialize function instead of challenges
. Also the argument to create_tables
is a list of models and not text.
def initialize():
db.connect()
db.create_tables([Challenge], safe = True)

Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsYou might want to add a
db.close()
at the end.anhedonicblonde
