Hello fellow Treehouse members. I just thought I would share a great website that some of my close friends from school started called https://www.hackerleague.org/ . This website is a great way to find local hackathons (24hr development competition) which incorporate many languages and skills. Most of these events are done in groups and are a great way to network and learn new technologies. Take a look and check it out. Ive been to 4 hackathons nearby in the Tri-state area (NY/NJ/PA) and it is a great experience.

How much experience you need to have to join these hackathons? Can you share your experience a little bit? Like how do you find your team etc.?

6,574 PointsJay, you don't need much experience. You can always help and be a part of a group to learn. My experience is amazing. 24hrs of pure development, free food and fun games / activities. Most hackathons you meet early and all the sponsors display their API's and you think on how to use them ect. Then you break into teams or find members.
