Find a local hackathon!

Hello fellow Treehouse members. I just thought I would share a great website that some of my close friends from school started called https://www.hackerleague.org/ . This website is a great way to find local hackathons (24hr development competition) which incorporate many languages and skills. Most of these events are done in groups and are a great way to network and learn new technologies. Take a look and check it out. Ive been to 4 hackathons nearby in the Tri-state area (NY/NJ/PA) and it is a great experience.

Super awesome! Thanks a lot!

How much experience you need to have to join these hackathons? Can you share your experience a little bit? Like how do you find your team etc.?

Jay, you don't need much experience. You can always help and be a part of a group to learn. My experience is amazing. 24hrs of pure development, free food and fun games / activities. Most hackathons you meet early and all the sponsors display their API's and you think on how to use them ect. Then you break into teams or find members.

This sounds really cool. I'll look around. Thanks for the pointer!
