108 PointsFirst lesson trouble for a newby
I can't import the sample files into the workspace. The directions say to highlight the files and drag them to a darken area to the left of the main code writing box. When I try that I can grab the files just fine but when I drag the over there is no dark place on the left to place them. I tried several places within that dark gray box but the files will not drop. What am I doing wrong?

108 PointsI switched to Chrome and at least this time the left side box turned darker when I tried to drop the files. Unfortunately, the files still would not drop no matter how many times I tried. Any other suggestions?

108 PointsI tried IE, Chrome and Firefox and nothing I have tried worked. Can you suggest anything else?

294 PointsOn your workspace, choose file up at the top and select upload files option.

Treehouse TeacherThe Workspace has a menu bar including File, Edit, View and Help menus. Click the File menu and choose "Upload File." Unfortunately this only lets you upload a single file at a time.

10,071 PointsI remember having trouble with this too, so it's not just you! I might have closed and reopened the workspace and then tried again, and it eventually worked.

Courses Plus Student 10,009 PointsIt is at the bottom left of the workspace. I dragged them to the left only as a newbie, then figured out it had to be at the bottom of the left. Hope that helps. (I use Firefox too)

Treehouse TeacherDid you drag the files to the bottom area of the left hand sidebar? A darker grey box should appear in the lower area with the words "Drag Files to Upload." You need to drop the files into that box.

108 PointsDave, Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was able to upload all files at once using your suggestion and just highlighting them all on the list. The uploaded quickly and perfectly. Thanks again. I was going a little crazy.

What browser are you using? Chrome works best for this.
