Hello, there. I began the lesson Build an Interactive Website --Introduction to jQuery --Using jQuery to Select Elements and got stuck at the second part of teh first challenge. The question is:
On the next line, use jQuery to select all list items (li) in an unordered list (ul) with the class of 'nav'?
So I wrote:
$("#container"); $(".nav li ul");
Can somebody tell me, that went wrong?
Thanks ;)

1,624 PointsThanks :) But why in this order? (ul.nav li)

Courses Plus Student 14,966 PointsHi Pia
Because you are trying to select the li elements which are children of the ul so start with the ul (which has a class of nav) therefore ul.nav and then its list elements (li) - so ul.nav li
