i think you should change the OR ( || ) operators with AND ( && ) operator, like this

var money = 9;
var today =  'Friday';

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater")
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner")
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

with OR (||) operator , if only one of the conditions is true the code will be executed, but with AND (&&) operator both conditions must be true , in this case , the money is 9 ( which is below the requirement ) and the day is Friday ( which meets the requirement ) . so the first block will be executed and its wrong according to what the challenge is asking .

just changing the way the if statement looks at the conditions by changing the operators from OR to AND should solve this problem .

happy coding ;)
