Flask project: jsonify the models

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to transform the Flask Project into an API but only the '/stream' route. What I'm trying to do is to replicate the model into a JSON format so it can be used with a MV* Framework.

The example is the following:

I need to return something like this:

[
        {
            'id': 1,
            'content': u'My first Tweet'
        },
        {
            'id': 2,
            'content': u'My Second Tweet'
        }
]

Using Flask, here is what I have

@app.route("/stream")
def stream():
    stream = models.Post.select().limit(100)    
    return jsonify({ 'posts': stream }) # will return the query to database

Is there a way I can return the stream in the tweets format?
