Flexbox

So what is best practice when using Flexbox in terms layout? Should you use Flexbox to customize the layout of a page or use simple techniques (padding, margins, floats, display, positions) instead?

1 Answer

You can use flexbox for page layouts, or specific UI component layouts as well. You will still use margins/padding with flexbox, but you won't have to rely on them nearly as much. There are also still a lot of situations where floating and positioning are still useful especially when it comes to fixed elements.
