Flexbox messes up in landscape mode

When I apply display: flex to my header and content and switch my phone to landscape mode it only covers 60% of the page horizontaly. Any idea why? I use chrome on my cellphone.

my guess would be that one of the containers has the width set to an absolute value but unless you actually post the markup and css guessing is all I can do.

EDIT: Also what is the "it" that you're referring to that only covers 60% of the screen?

EDIT: Are any flex properties set?
