18,154 PointsFlexbox Usage
Hi everyone!
Just finished learning the basics of flexbox in CSS after learning about floats and positioning and it seems much easier. My question is in the course of styling an average website should you always try and use flexbox wherever possible or is it common practice to only use it sparingly. I understand it may sound like a bit of a dumb question but I am just curious as to how other students utilise this.
Thanks
Martin

Courses Plus Student 8,654 PointsI would recommend using it where possible and where you feel it works best in your layout. Some browsers handle its use better then others. Most issues are with IE and older browsers, on my last google analytic check on a site I manage IE still ranks high on the list of browsers. However user percentages are dropping slowly.
