I believe my code is right as the following transition should be. I cannot figure out what is the problem?
.nav-item {
flex-grow: 1;
transition:flex-grow .5s;
}
.nav-item:hover {
flex-grow: 2;
}
/* nav-item transitions ---------- */
.nav-item {
flex-grow: 1;
transition:flex-grow .5s;
}
.nav-item:hover {
flex-grow: 2;
}
/* nav icon transitions ---------- */
.icon {
right: -25px;
}
.nav-item:hover .icon {
right: 12%;
}

27,930 PointsHi,
I think this is as simple as a formatting issue with your spaces.
/* nav-item transitions ---------- */
.nav-item {
flex-grow: 1;
transition: flex-grow .5s;
}
.nav-item:hover {
flex-grow: 2;
}
/* nav icon transitions ---------- */
.icon {
right: -25px;
}
.nav-item:hover .icon {
right: 12%;
}
The above code passes the challenge so I assume it is down to the space missing after the colon.
Hope this helps,
Craig :)

27,930 PointsHi Ammar,
Unfortunately, with this being the correct formatting needed for best practices I don't think they would see it as a bug as such. I do however understand that your answer was technically correct and will mention it to the community manager as you are not the first person to experience this type of set back when on the challenges.
Happy Coding :)
