FLOAT and clear not clear...??

i've tried floating an image towards left by float:left; but i can't make the paragraph wear around the text.. how do i do this..?? Can someone please explain me the concept of float and clear ?

When you float an element, the text will automatically wrap around it. Clear would only be needed to make sure the text doesn't wrap.

Here is all about floated elements that you want to know (and probably some that you don't): https://css-tricks.com/all-about-floats/
