floats css

hi guys im playing with the css lake tahoe project. Im a trying to create three columns instead of two. i created an extra div and gave it the property float:middle; but it floats in below the other two instead of in the middle. i also tried playing around with the size percentages but they dont seem to change anything. any advice. i also i wrote my code in sublime so please let me know if it doesnt post properly. thanks

You can't use "middle" with CSS.

You can float left or right. If you were to adjust the widths, paddings and margins of the columns, you could float all of them to the left and do a clearfix at the bottom of the column divs.
