followed instructions, menu links give 404

ok so I followed the instructions on migrating the site and database

I visit my site, the main page works, the login and backend work, but my menu links do not work

when i click on a menu link, which links to a page, i get this

The requested URL /provlepsis/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

anyone know what i did wrong?

Have you tried to save your permalinks in wordpress? You can find it in the following location. if you are logged in and go to the url (yoursite.com)/wp-admin/options-permalink.php and click save. Or you can click on settings. And after that on permalinks and then on save.
