Font in CSS is not working

What is wrong with my code? The font isn't working. I used both font-family: "Pacifico", and font-family: 'Pacifico' and ' but neither are working.

h1 { color: #edded7;

text-align: center;

z-index: 20;

font-size: 7em;

font-family: "Pacifico", cursive; }

write sans serif instead of cursive, as that should be put in font-style instead of family :)

Thank you Camilla, I did that, the font changed but not quite into the font I chose ... any idea why?

Did you link to the font in your html? Pacifico is not a web-safe font as far as I'm concerned :)
