For Font Awesome: A Brand Icon pointing to your Treehouse Profile

Specifically for the Font Awesomehttp://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/ icon font library.

In general, there is the Treehouse logo itself one could use to create an image link to their Treehouse profile. But, as part of a very popular icon set, I think it will be great for the students of Treehouse wishing to share their achievements, to have a Treehouse icon as part of that set. It will also be great for the promotion of Treehouse itself.

We'd end up with so many personal sites of web workers and aspiring web workers brandishing the Treehouse icon alongside the likes of their Github, Twitter, and other network icons. I know I would and would be surprised if I'm alone.

I've opened an issue on GitHub requesting the addition of a Treehouse icon to the Brand Icons in their collection.

If you are familiar with Bootstrap or Foundation, as you would be here in Treehouse, you'll want to know that Font Awesome as an icon set can be used along-side one of those frameworks with ease. Even more importantly, it can be used anywhere you like and is not limited to being only just usable within a specific framework. Icons are not for everybody but they sure do have a big role and will likely rear their heads in your direction at some point.

I wanted to talk about all this in the hopes that I would find others who would like to see a Treehouse icon in Font Awesome as well. If you are there, perhaps you would join me and chime in at GitHub on that specific issue and reply here as well.
