10,635 PointsFor the wrap up quiz, why is 9972GL not a hexadecimal color?
I can't seem to figure out why... Thanks

Treehouse Moderator 145,863 PointsHey Jason,
Hexadecimal uses base 16 notation to generate the number for colors.
So it uses the numbers 0 -> 9 (10 digits) and A -> F (6 digits) for a total of 16.
"G" and "L" fall outside of that range.
Hope that helps. :)

10,635 PointsIt does! This was not mentioned in the video that had that quiz question. Not quite sure how treehouse expected me to know that!
