formatting strings

name = 'mario' subject = "treehouse loves {}" subject.format(name)
will not accept on Treehouse strings.py but works perfectly well on my python shell , keeps saying error need to use {} or .format ?????????? and when its not this error message it kicks it back to line 1 says my name string is wrong

strings.py
name = 'mario'
subject = "treehouse loves {}"
subject.format(name)

The challenge is wanting you to call .format directly inside of the subject variable on the end of the string.
