Foundation 4 vs. Twitter Bootstrap

Curious if anyone uses Foundation or Bootstrap. I built my site on the twitter bootstrap, but a lot of people are suggesting Foundation. I don't know anything about it, but I do have a personal side project and I'd like to attempt to make something using Foundation. If anyone knows of any good tutorials as well let me know.

Suleiman it's definitely lacking documentation. I've switch over to Twitter Bootstrap, very easy to use and build off of. I'd love to use Foundation so ill look forward to seeing what you create as a demo.

If you are interested in building mockups with Bootstrap, there's the awesome JetStrap app, great for drag-and-drop building of click-able prototypes.

James - I've never used the JetStrap but the ability to drag and drop sounds great. I've already started playing with Foundation 4 like Nick had suggested and it's pretty slick. My current site that I built was on bootstrap so I have a decent understanding of that environment so it should be an easy transition into JetStrap.

Thanks for the info from you both!

Hi Justin,

I've used both and I think the choice has a lot to do with personal preference. Now is a good time to jump into Foundation though, as they just released version 4.

Their documentation is actually really excellent, so I'd start there. :)

I'm trying to get my head around Foundation 4 using Sass and semantic markup. If anyone could help me out and point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.

@Suleiman - I second that, I'm subscribed to this topic now.

I think I have a general idea of it all now. The Sass semantic documentation and tutorials are somewhat lacking online. I'll write a small demo up here in a bit :)
