Hello Everyone,
I am looking for some sites with free stock photos and SVG images as I begin creating my first website for a friend of mine whom is a barber.
Since I am focusing on the coding and programming of Web Development, I don't really want to waste time at the moment in creating content. This website would be for practice and educational purposes only. If my buddy likes the site and would like to make it a reality, then I would take the time to customize some logos and take some photos of the actual shop and his work.
I know the teachers on the site have tools in the notes for the videos, maybe a link to a folder where all the resources are listed in a specific category would be beneficial?
Any recommendations for the project or links to a similar example would be greatly appreciated! I really would like to start working as a developer sooner rather than later and putting the things I have learned thus far even though this is a basic project is a big step in realizing this goal!
Thank you and I hope to see some good advice very soon :)

18,814 PointsYou can find tons of sites for stock images just by googling. Personally, I quite like Pexels when I'm just looking for placeholders or inspiration.
I haven't found any specific sites I really like for free vector art, but there are lots of results on google that are probably serviceable, if not great. Vecteezy at least seems clear on which items are free to use and which are premium.
If you really just need placeholder content for a quick mockup or layout, I recommend Lorempixel for images, and Lorem2 for text. There are probably other options out there if those don't work for you.
