Hi,
I've been using Treehouse for about 2 months now. A friend of mine showed me www.freecodecamp.com and I was thinking maybe it could be a good idea to use in combination with Treehouse - It even have real-life-projects which I'm looking forward to try out.
My question is:
Have anyone in here used freecodecamp before? and was is your thoughts about this website?

Treehouse TeacherYes, I have and still do. The drawback to freecodecamp is that there are no videos. There's only a small amount of text to each particular challenge. There are also not quite as many topics covered as there are here. The benefit is that 95% of what you do there will be some sort of coding challenge. If you are able to read and apply what you've read then it can be a great thing. If you're more of an auditory learner it might not be your thing. But given that it's free, it's definitely worth checking out!

Treehouse TeacherI've completed in the area of 350 "tasks" there. I will say that when you get to the JavaScript section there the learning curve gets much steeper. I haven't been using it that long and am mostly active on Treehouse currently as I'm learning things here that aren't available there. (At least as of right now).

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 22,928 PointsI am doing FCC at the same time as Treehouse and finding it a good supplement for practice and reinforcing things. I still need the videos for my primary learning, and the danger of FCC for me is that I can pass the coding challenges by identifying patterns without really understanding what I'm doing. BUT in conjunction with Treehouse, that doesn't happen, and I figure any other source of projects for practice and my portfolio can only help me. They have a friendly subreddit and a gitter chat as well.

Python Web Development Techdegree Student 38,322 PointsAt the moment I'm doing the Bootstrap section and I find it very interesting - the first basic section didn't take long to complete because I already knew everything in it :-)
I will keep learning from this site as a supplement to Treehouse - mainly because I want try out those real-life-projects and the extra features they offer and Treehouse doesn't + as you said "It's free!" ;-)
May I ask how long you've used freecodecamp and how far you are in your "study"? :-)
