Front End Web Development VS Web Design?

Which would you recommend learning first?:

From end web development vs Web Design

I've noticed both are fairly similar, but is it better to learn one before the other? I plan on doing both courses either way, but it'd be good to know before diving in.

Both give you the same immediate introduction to what web pages are all about. The Front-End Web Development track relatively quickly branches off to get started with some programming though, whereas the Web Design track steers towards teaching you about styling.

Both are very good starting points and really it is up to you and your interests to decide. Which do you like more? Exercising your creativity through drawing and painting or solving puzzles?

Take the Front-End Web Development track if you love solving puzzles and take the Web Design track if you love creating beautiful things.

Thanks! I plan on starting off making simple, but good looking things. Thanks for the help :)
