Front-End Track Changes Needed ASAP

Hi Treehouse team!

I think it is really critical that you change the Front End Track to feature Dave's Javascript Basics course. I understand it is hard for those who speak a language to understand what it sounds like to new ears. But let me tell you, Javascript Foundations is almost impossible to digest at first.

I decided to leave the track and take the Basics course instead and I found the barrier of entry to be a lot more manageable.

Even after the Basics course, I feel as though the foundations course is unfortunately not laid out in the most logical manner. Once again, after starting it, my momentum has completely halted. There are a lot of assumptions made in the organization and the language throughout the course.

I am not angry by any means, but I think it is important to know that I don't believe it to be a strong representation of your website. It has a strong potential to scare users away. Its clear that a lot of work went into the course, but maybe it would make sense to put it to the side until it can be updated?

Thanks for all the work you do!

Hello Conner Cousins

I'll be launching my new JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects course this week. When that happens, we will be replacing the "Intro to Programming" and "JavaScript Foundations" course in the Front End Dev track.

Thanks Dave,

I can't begin to explain how impressive your vigilance has been. You guys clearly did a lot of UX/Feedback research before creating your JavaScript Basics course. It was such a joy to work through, and definitely deserves a lot of credit. Keep up the AMAZING work and good luck in the future projects!

Can't wait to sit down tonight with a cup of tea and get learning! Cheers!
