'Full Screen Slider with CSS workshop' adjustment question

In the workshop David creates a full screen tabbed slider with CSS that always slides in pages from the left.

Is there a way to make the sections slide in from left or right depending on where the clicked section is at compared to the current active section in the view port?

An example of what I mean can be seen at http://colinrjohnson.com/
