The shortest route is probably to start with javascript. Javascript has long time been a front end language to "do thing", but now it can be used as a server side language with Node, and it continues to grow. React has now introduced writing our html in js as modules, and I think CSS is going to follow, where it will be written inside of JS, and brought in as needed when needed.

By no means is JS the language, but it's starting to pull away as far as versatility. But the true questions becomes, where do you want to work, and what language technology stacks do they use. If you want to freelance, the world is wide open.

hmm i want to work with tumblr website. and they do use php language. so what should i learn.

If you want to work for tumblr, than you probably should learn html, css, js, php, and sql to be a full stack for a company who uses php.

ok thnx. but according to treehouse track system. which one track provide me the same things which you have told me. please guide me.

Probably want to do the front end development track, and the php development track

thnx for your reply kevin.
