Full Stack Javascript techdegree Query

Hello Community,

I'm working towards completing all the courses on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree before starting the Techdegree.

Can someone please tell me the order in which courses on the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree need to be completed? I can see all the courses on the techdegree homepage, but I don't see the order.

Thank You.

Hey shay r. Many of us are following the same curriculum before officially joining the TechDegree.

The courses are listed in order. Read it from top to bottom, left to right. That's how I followed it as this order made logical sense to me. I wish they included it in a track format, but as it is you have to manually search for each course. The main issue you encounter is some courses will be out of date. The curriculum was also recently updated so be sure it's Version 2, and not Version 1. I had Version 1 bookmarked, and then only recently realized there was a newer version. It should now read "31 courses" and not "39" like it did before. Courses like JavaScript Unit Testing and jQuery Plugins have now been removed. Watch out for the new courses being released as well. Two new React courses (one being an update) are set for release this month (hopefully!). And then it looks like Express will be updated in October.

You're welcome. It's tricky at times due to the age of some of the courses. For example, I pretty much fast-forwarded through jQuery Plugins when I took it. It doesn't surprise me that it was removed recently.

Hi Shay,

Whilst I don't know the curriculum top to bottom I do know you can take the courses are included in the tech degree so so you can take them any time and are always available to you.

There's no required order but if you did want to follow a particular order you can use the Tracks to guide you as to what course might come after another. Good luck! :-)
