iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Functional Programming in C Functions

function code challenge

I seem to be unable to complete this challenge

Implement a function named "addTwo" that returns the sum of two floats. The function will accept two float numbers as arguments. It should add the two arguments together, and return the result. (No need to write the main function. Just write out the implementation for the addTwo function.)

        float addtwo(float a, float b);
        {

    float jar = 50;
        float tar = 15;
        printf("the answer is %f\n", addtwo(jar,tar));
        return 0;

         }

         float addtwo(float a, float b) {
    return a + b;
        }

this looks like it, but for some reason it doesn't work. when i check the preview it says "expected unqualified-id {

please help

Hi Nura,

You're doing too much here. They only want the implementation of the function which is the last part of your code. It's not looking for a complete program.

float addTwo(float a, float b) {
    return a + b;
}

Also, it's addTwo not addtwo
