this is what a function usually looks like:

returnType functionName(dataType argumentOne, datatype argumentTwo) {


      return someThing;

}

In this case the challenge tells you the return type of the function, and the data type of the arguments. It also says the function should return the sum of the arguments passed to the function (argumentOne and argumentTwo in my example) see if you can figure it out now

Yeah got it. I was way over complicating it.
